The following article below will get your Microsoft Exchange email account setup on your iPhone using the Activesync technology. These steps are a generalized overview of the setup process, your phone on your carrier may have slightly different steps. Contact your carrier or phone service provider if you cannot get Exchange/ActiveSync operating before contacting TFS for support.

Note: We recommend turning off wi-fi on your device before proceeding.

Add your Exchange account


Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Exchange.

Enter your information


Enter your compliant email address and password. If you want to, you can also enter an account description.

Connect to the Exchange Server

Your iOS device will try to find your Exchange Server. You might have to enter additional server information. If you need help, contact your Exchange Server administrator.

Your email address and account name are identical, if you enter test@test.com as your email address then test@test.com is your username.

Sync your content

You can sync Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes. When you're finished, tap Save.

You will need to accept the settings from the TFS Exchange Server. This allows for services such as remote wipe which can erase your phones email messages and settings should your phone be lost or stolen.

After finalization, you can select how many days to sync, what schedule to sync with and what size of email you want to download. You decide what frequency and the amount of data to pulld own to your phone.

When complete, you can provide a name for this account to distinguish between multiple accounts on your phone.

Access to this system is limited to authorized TFS employees, contractors and representatives. Only TFS members who have been issued an account on this system by TFS may have access to this system. All other use of this system is strictly prohibited. The activities of all users of this system are monitored by TFS.
